Faconn Mini-O-Grabbox: January'19 Edition

So I was very late to grab this Grab Box, but I did it finally!! The Faconn Mini-O-Grabbox of January'19 edition is just worth a buy!

I had ordered at almost the end of the month and received the box recently. Faconn is a beauty cum cosmetic subscription box of India and every month they come up with a subscription box with great products. Most of the products in the box are mostly their own brand, and some are some different good brands. It is actually my 2nd purchase of the Faconn box and I am again very much impressed with the products. They also sell different accessories, skin and makeup products apart from the Subscription Boxes. You can check out their website here: https://faconn.com/

So now coming to the January Subscription box, it has 5 items, and is priced at rs. 279. The best thing is it has beauty, skin care and also jewelry in the box. The products are:
  • FACONN MULTANI MITTI – RS.150/-
  • S.F.R COLOR CONCEALER PALETTE-RS.350/-
  • OXIDIZED TRADITIONAL MEENA EARRINGS – RS.350/-
  • FACONN STRAWBERRY BODY WASH – RS.250/-
  • ME NOW PRO LONGWEAR LIPGLOSS – RS.200/-

So you get products worth Rs. 1300 for just Rs. 279, that is like ammazziinngg!!

You can even now go to their website and place the order from this link: https://faconn.com/product/january-mini-o-grabox/, till the box is in stock!

I really love all the products in this month's edition, like literally all. The Multani mitty is like a basic need of all girls, the concealer palette is just amazing, it has 6 different shades and all the shades will suit any Indian skin tone. The pigmentation is also rich, non-matte and little shimmery.
Then the Earrings, I really like the pattern of the earrings, it will go with any traditional or ethnic wear and will give a rich look. The body wash has an amazing smell and also is mild on the skin, thus a good product again. Coming to the lip gloss, the colour I got is orangish yellow. I didn't like the colour much, but yes the quality is good.

So overall a very good edition of the box. A big Thumbs Up!!

Khadi herbal Hair conditioner review

So here I am today to review two varieties of KHADI Herbal Hair Conditioner, one is Khadi Shikakai and Honey Hair conditioner and the other is Khadi Green Tea and Aloevera Hair conditioner. The first thing I want to share is I am absolutely in love with these hair conditioners. I am the one who has dry and rough hair, and for me, I felt these conditioners are just perfect! So why I'm in love with these? I have tried like so many conditioners on my hair, some of it turned out to leave my hair too sticky, some didn't do its job at all and left my hair brittle and rough, and to be very honest, I was tired to figure out which one will suit me the best. Then suddenly I came across these Khadi conditioners. The first time I used them only I felt the difference, it nourished my hair, made it soft and smooth, like the way a conditioner should exactly be. Moreover, it is not at all costly. I believe for all the variety of conditioner that Khadi has, its priced at or...

Jovees Honey and Apple Conditioning Shampoo Review

So today is another review day! And today I'm gonna talk about the product which has been with me for the longest time ever☺ Yah, as you all must have understood by the caption, today I will be sharing my review about Jovees Honey and Apple Conditioning Shampoo. I have been using this shampoo for the longest time ever! For the last FOUR years, I'm using it. Not that I'm saying this is the best shampoo ever in the market and blah blah, but it surely suits my hair the best out of all the shampoos that I had used before coming across this one. So the shampoo actually looks like this: The shampoo had a different packaging when I just started using it and is now in this form. So you can understand I have seen all phases of this shampoo. LOL!! I actually have very dry and rough hair and was looking for some shampoo which will keep it soft and not make it even drier after hair wash. This exactly serves the purpose. It is transparent and has a very mild and nice f...

Authentic Bengali Alu Posto recipe

Now its Bengali food time!! hehe!! It's one of the Bengali delicacies which I am gonna talk about today, the famous 'Alu Posto', a favorite food for all Bongs, with literally no exception! I have seen a lot of non-bong peoples also liking it a lot, thus if you are not a Bengali, you can try this too and do let me know whether you liked it or not! :) So what all you need to make it? Nothing much actually, the main ingredient is alu (or potato) and posto (or poppy seeds). Apart from that, you need some ginger paste, chilies or chili powder, onion, salt, turmeric, that's all! (I will be telling you for the quantity of 4 big potatoes, 2 big onions and 4 tablespoons of posto) How to make it? First thing is to make the paste of the posto (or poppy seeds) with just a minimum amount of water required to make the paste, and some chilies. Cut the alu (or potato) into small rectangular pieces and chop the onions not very finely and not also very coarsely. Take a k...
