Hair Care Products that I swear by in Summer!

This summer is taking a toll on everyone's hair that I know :( So I have come up with very affordable and good products which I have been using for my hair in this summer as a part of my hair care regime.

So starting with the first step:

Hair Oiling- I am a great believer in oiling of hair, as I do believe that oil is the major food that hair gets. Thus I always oil my hair the day before m gonna shampoo. For oiling, I am currently using Sri Sri Coconut oil (cold pressed) (https://www.nykaa.com/sri-sri-tattva-organic-virgin-coconut-oil/p/303960?ptype=product&productId=303960&skuId=303960), Aroma Magic Castor Oil (https://www.nykaa.com/aroma-magic-castor-oil/p/12545?ptype=product&productId=12545&skuId=12545) and Wow Skin Science Aloe Vera Gel (https://www.amazon.in/WOW-Aloe-Multipurpose-Beauty-130ml/dp/B078Z9JWRW/ref=sr_1_15?keywords=wow+apple+cider+vinegar+shampoo&qid=1556556283&s=gateway&sr=8-15) mixture.

For one spoon of coconut oil, I take 1/3 spoon of castor oil and a generous amount of aloe vera gel. You may even skip castor oil if you feel that it is making your hair very sticky, but remember that castor oil is an amazing ingredient to prevent or rather reduce hair fall.

After oiling, the next day morning I shampoo my hair with a mild shampoo: WOW Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo (https://www.amazon.in/WOW-Vinegar-Sulphate-Parabens-Shampoo/dp/B01M9EB7ZK/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?keywords=wow+apple+cider+vinegar+shampoo&qid=1556556283&s=gateway&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1). Try to dilute the shampoo by mixing it with some water before applying on hair. I do definitely follow up shampooing with a mild conditioner: Khadi Shikakai and Honey Conditioner (https://www.nykaa.com/khadi-shikakai-and-honey-herbal-hair-conditioner/p/5077?ptype=product&productId=5077&skuId=5077&root=cav_pd).

Recently even in spite of using conditioner, I was facing tremendous hair fall, thus started using hair serum and I'm actually getting very good results of using the serum: Khadi Natural Herbal Hair Serum (https://www.nykaa.com/khadi-natural-ayurvedic-hair-serum-50ml/p/326878?ptype=product&productId=326878&skuId=326878). Tap the damp hair with very less amount of this serum- helps control frizz and also adds a luster to hair!

This completes my summer hair care regime!

Take Care!! Happy good hair days!!

Khadi herbal Hair conditioner review

So here I am today to review two varieties of KHADI Herbal Hair Conditioner, one is Khadi Shikakai and Honey Hair conditioner and the other is Khadi Green Tea and Aloevera Hair conditioner. The first thing I want to share is I am absolutely in love with these hair conditioners. I am the one who has dry and rough hair, and for me, I felt these conditioners are just perfect! So why I'm in love with these? I have tried like so many conditioners on my hair, some of it turned out to leave my hair too sticky, some didn't do its job at all and left my hair brittle and rough, and to be very honest, I was tired to figure out which one will suit me the best. Then suddenly I came across these Khadi conditioners. The first time I used them only I felt the difference, it nourished my hair, made it soft and smooth, like the way a conditioner should exactly be. Moreover, it is not at all costly. I believe for all the variety of conditioner that Khadi has, its priced at or...

Bengali Association Durga puja in Aurangabad, Maharashtra

Durga Puja is one of the biggest festival celebrated by the Bengalies. I am a Bengali by birth and I have recently shifted to Aurangabad, Maharashtra (you can check out the places that I have explored here in Aurangabad in my previous blog:  https://pcfoodfacelife.blogspot.com/2018/08/blog-post.html ). So this 2018 Durga puja I had spent in Aurangabad, and that's when I discovered that there is a Bengali Association in Aurangabad (there might be more, but I am talking about the one I am aware of right now). As I came to know, this Bengali Association celebrates all the Bengali festivals in the authentic Bengali way, and so was the Durga Puja. The Durga Puja of this particular Bengali association is hosted in the "Sagar Lawns and Function Hall" which is near the Prozone Mall in the Chilkalthana Area ( https://www.google.co.in/maps/contrib/104235049707915129776/place/ChIJE7FM7_Gi2zsRYC0D6NRB0Ag/@19.5396149,74.1340508,9z/data=!4m6!1m5!8m4!1e1!2s104235049707915129776!...

Bread Pakoda-A delicious snacks recipe :)

Hello all..!! So today I have come up with a very delicious and easy snacks option and will be sharing the recipe with you all. Bread pakoda is one of the most favourite and commonly available snacks out there and you can now soo easily make it at home too!! What all you need for it? Bread (Of course, LOL), Besan/Gram Flour, Ajwain, Coriander leaves, Black Jeera, Turmeric and salt. Now let us make it! Firstly cut the sides of the bread pieces and then cut the bread into diagonal halves (shape is according to your preference! you need not also throw the sides of the bread as you can make pakoda out of them too!!) Now take a bowl, put the Besan, Ajwain, Chopped Coriander leaves, Black Jeera, Turmeric and salt (according to your taste) and mix well. Add water to make a liquidy batter. Now take a kadai, put oil generously, because we are gonna deep fry it. Dip the pieces of bread in the batter so made and deep fry both sides well. (do the same with the sides of bread to...
