French Toast

So here again I have come up with another easy and simple but tasty recipe! For this, you need three major ingredients, and those are: Eggs, Milk and Bread. So how do you make it? As I have already mentioned, my major ingredients for this recipe are eggs, milk, and bread. Apart from that you also need some turmeric, pepper powder, and ginger paste. You can skip using ginger if you do not like the taste or smell of it. I personally feel that ginger goes well with any recipe which contains egg in it, so I am using ginger here. Process: Take a half cup of milk, two eggs, half a teaspoon ginger paste (optional), salt according to your taste, a pinch of turmeric and pepper according to your taste. Mix all these ingredients in a bowl. Now take a flat pan (preferably non-stick pan) and put one tablespoon of oil and let it warm. Now one by one dip slices of bread in the liquid mixture so made (both sides) and put it to be cooked on the pan. Keep it for 3-4 minutes for one sid...

Modified Upma!

Upma is one of the simplest, yet healthy and filling food. its a good option for snacks as well as breakfast. So here today I will be sharing with you a little-modified upma recipe. What all you need? Rawa/Suji, one small potato (you can skip potato if you don't like), one medium sized onion, one egg, two small/one big tomato, half a tablespoon ginger paste, some peanuts. How to make it? Initially dry roast the rawa and keep it aside. Put one tablespoon of oil in the pan and then put cumin seeds/jeera, peanuts, ginger paste and mustard seeds, and also salt and turmeric according to your taste. Then one by one add the onion, potatoes, and tomatoes. Let the potatoes cook and then add the egg and stir well so that it becomes kind of scrambled egg. After all these are done, add the roasted rawa, and mix well. The last step is to add water, add the correct amount of water (rawa:water=2:1) so that it does not become too watery nor too hard. Yah the done! Serve with some chop...

Spring Onion/Piyaj Koli recipe (With posto/Poppy Seeds)

Hello Everyone! This is another recipe from my Bengali Cuisine. So the authentic name of the dish is "Piyaj koli Posto" and for the sake of convenience of my non-bong friends, it's Spring Onion with Poppy Seeds Paste. No no, you might find the name little unusual and therefore might have thought that it is a difficult recipe, but it's absolutely not so! It is just a two-ingredient recipe! Yes, you read it right, only 'TWO' ingredient recipe. So what do you actually need? 1.Spring onions/Piyaj Koli (I here have used one bundle of spring onion which is approximately 250gm) 2.Posto/Poppy seeds Paste (I have taken here five full tablespoons of posto/poppy seeds and have made a paste out of it) How to Make it? Take 2 tablespoons of mustard oil in the kadai and heat it up (the authentic taste comes with the use of mustard oil, but you if are intolerant to mustard oil, you can use any oil of your choice). Put some salt, turmeric and chili powder (a...

Wash the chicken well and marinate it with the curd, one tablespoon garlic paste (you can also add one tablespoon of ginger paste while marinating, but I prefer not to add ginger while marinating) and half a tablespoon of turmeric powder and keep it marinated for 30 minutes to 1 hour. After marination i...
