Hair and Face Mask: DIY Masks

I have always been a huge fan of DIY natural masks for hair and skin. That really works wonders. Though I agree that you won't get immediate effects from these natural masks, but with a period of regular and continuous usage, you will obviously see the difference.

Its beneficial in two major ways:
1. It is cheap,
2. It has no chemicals added to it to degrade ur skin or hair quality.

So let me share with you my all-time favorite hair and body or face mask.

Hair Mask:

The things you need for this mask are: Egg, Sour Curd, Castor Oil, Coconut Oil.

All that you have to do is mix one egg with one spoon of curd, half a spoon of coconut oil and 1/4th spoon of castor oil (measurements are for mid-length medium thickness hair, you can change the proportions according to your hair length and density).

Apply all over your hair length, root to tips, and keep it for 1.5 hours and wash it off with your favourite shampoo. Repeat once in a week.

Benefits of this mask: Egg being rich in protein acts as a protein treatment for hair, and curd makes hair soft and smooth. Coconut oil, in addition, moisturizes hair and castor oil strengthens hair roots.

Thus this mask makes your hair soft, smooth, shiny, strong and less frizzy.

Face/Body Mask:

The things you need for this mask are: Besan, Wild turmeric powder (or normal turmeric powder), Coconut oil, Curd.

All that you have to do is mix one spoon of besan with half a spoon of turmeric powder, half a spoon of coconut oil (skip coconut oil if you are applying this mask in summer), and two spoons of curd. Mix well all these ingredients together.

Wash your face and body (if you want to apply in the body) and apply the mask. Keep it for like 30 minutes and wash off with plain water. While washing, also scrub off the mask so that it also exfoliates your skin. Repeat 2-3 times in a week.

Benefits of this mask: Besan acts as an exfoliator cum a replacement of soap. Turmeric adds a natural glow to the skin, curd bleaches skin and lightens dark spots. Coconut oil acts as a moisturizer.

Thus this mask makes your skin soft, smooth, blemish free and reduces marks. It also adds a natural glow to the skin.

Take Care!!

So here I am today to review two varieties of KHADI Herbal Hair Conditioner, one is Khadi Shikakai and Honey Hair conditioner and the other is Khadi Green Tea and Aloevera Hair conditioner. The first thing I want to share is I am absolutely in love with these hair conditioners. I am the one who has dry and rough hair, and for me, I felt these conditioners are just perfect! So why I'm in love with these? I have tried like so many conditioners on my hair, some of it turned out to leave my hair too sticky, some didn't do its job at all and left my hair brittle and rough, and to be very honest, I was tired to figure out which one will suit me the best. Then suddenly I came across these Khadi conditioners. The first time I used them only I felt the difference, it nourished my hair, made it soft and smooth, like the way a conditioner should exactly be. Moreover, it is not at all costly. I believe for all the variety of conditioner that Khadi has, its priced at or...

So today is another review day! And today I'm gonna talk about the product which has been with me for the longest time ever☺ Yah, as you all must have understood by the caption, today I will be sharing my review about Jovees Honey and Apple Conditioning Shampoo. I have been using this shampoo for the longest time ever! For the last FOUR years, I'm using it. Not that I'm saying this is the best shampoo ever in the market and blah blah, but it surely suits my hair the best out of all the shampoos that I had used before coming across this one. So the shampoo actually looks like this: The shampoo had a different packaging when I just started using it and is now in this form. So you can understand I have seen all phases of this shampoo. LOL!! I actually have very dry and rough hair and was looking for some shampoo which will keep it soft and not make it even drier after hair wash. This exactly serves the purpose. It is transparent and has a very mild and nice f...
