Bhindi Curry

Here this is a kind of bong-marathi style bhindi curry! Lol! (So I kept the generic name! lol!!)

It's again very very simple yet tasty curry recipe. The main ingredient is bhindi/ladysfinger (as the name of the recipe suggests).

Ingredients:
Kalonji seeds, Turmeric, Salt, Sugar, Chilies, bhindi/Ladysfinger, Onion, and a coconut paste.

So let me first tell you how to make the coconut paste, which actually is the major masala in this particular recipe. For this paste, you need some dried coconuts, coriander leaves, green chilies, and garlic. Put all of this together in a mixer-grinder, and then u get the paste of it.

Now coming back to the recipe, for this, take one tablespoon of oil in a kadai, let it warm and then add the turmeric powder, kalonji seeds, salt, some sugar, and the chilies into it. Stir well. Then add the chopped onion (here for half kg of ladysfinger I have taken two big size onion). After the onions have turned into brownish colour, add the nicely chopped vindi, mix well. Sprinkle some water from the top, mix again and close the lid and let it cook for some 5-6 minutes. Then open the lid, add 5-6tablespoons of the coconut paste, mix well. Add half a glass of water and stir again. Again close the lid and cook for some 5-6 minutes.

That's all, done!!

Enjoy :)

Khadi herbal Hair conditioner review

So here I am today to review two varieties of KHADI Herbal Hair Conditioner, one is Khadi Shikakai and Honey Hair conditioner and the other is Khadi Green Tea and Aloevera Hair conditioner. The first thing I want to share is I am absolutely in love with these hair conditioners. I am the one who has dry and rough hair, and for me, I felt these conditioners are just perfect! So why I'm in love with these? I have tried like so many conditioners on my hair, some of it turned out to leave my hair too sticky, some didn't do its job at all and left my hair brittle and rough, and to be very honest, I was tired to figure out which one will suit me the best. Then suddenly I came across these Khadi conditioners. The first time I used them only I felt the difference, it nourished my hair, made it soft and smooth, like the way a conditioner should exactly be. Moreover, it is not at all costly. I believe for all the variety of conditioner that Khadi has, its priced at or...

I have been using this shampoo for the longest time ever! For the last FOUR years, I'm using it. Not that I'm saying this is the best shampoo ever in the market and blah blah, but it surely suits my hair the best out of all the shampoos that I had used before coming across this one. So the shampoo actually looks like this: The shampoo had a different packaging when I just started using it and is now in this form. So you can understand I have seen all phases of this shampoo. LOL!! I actually have very dry and rough hair and was looking for some shampoo which will keep it soft and not make it even drier after hair wash. This exactly serves the purpose. It is transparent and has a very mild and nice f...

Authentic Bengali Alu Posto recipe

Now its Bengali food time!! hehe!! It's one of the Bengali delicacies which I am gonna talk about today, the famous 'Alu Posto', a favorite food for all Bongs, with literally no exception! I have seen a lot of non-bong peoples also liking it a lot, thus if you are not a Bengali, you can try this too and do let me know whether you liked it or not! :) So what all you need to make it? Nothing much actually, the main ingredient is alu (or potato) and posto (or poppy seeds). Apart from that, you need some ginger paste, chilies or chili powder, onion, salt, turmeric, that's all! (I will be telling you for the quantity of 4 big potatoes, 2 big onions and 4 tablespoons of posto) How to make it? First thing is to make the paste of the posto (or poppy seeds) with just a minimum amount of water required to make the paste, and some chilies. Cut the alu (or potato) into small rectangular pieces and chop the onions not very finely and not also very coarsely. Take a k...
