Home made Moisturizer!

In this chilly winters, we all need to grab some moisturizer right? Yeah! And those fancy moisturizers have loads of added chemicals in it, which, though does the job for the time being, but eventually degrades our skin :(

So  I have here come up with a homemade DIY moisturizer. And again, like my usual DIYs, this is very very simple, affordable and yet effective.

For this, you just need coconut oil and a lemon.

Here I have taken around 12ml of coconut oil and for that amount I have taken half a lemon (you can change the quantity in the similar proportions). All you need to do is mix the coconut oil with the lemon juice and mix well. Store the mixture (if its summer, store it in a refrigerator) and keep using on a daily basis as a cheap and easy replacement of your favorite moisturizer. For people who have hyperpigmentation issue, the can also mix 3 tablets of vitamin E with the mixture and use in the same way.

Coconut oil is a great skin nourishing ingredient and lemon is an excellent natural bleaching agent. The duo together serves as a perfect moisturizer.

Disclaimer: Try avoiding this moisturizer before going out, as oil attracts dirt and pollutions and can result in skin clogs and eventually breakouts in the skin. So the best time to use this is before going to bed.

Happy Winter!!
Take Care!

Khadi herbal Hair conditioner review

So here I am today to review two varieties of KHADI Herbal Hair Conditioner, one is Khadi Shikakai and Honey Hair conditioner and the other is Khadi Green Tea and Aloevera Hair conditioner. The first thing I want to share is I am absolutely in love with these hair conditioners. I am the one who has dry and rough hair, and for me, I felt these conditioners are just perfect! So why I'm in love with these? I have tried like so many conditioners on my hair, some of it turned out to leave my hair too sticky, some didn't do its job at all and left my hair brittle and rough, and to be very honest, I was tired to figure out which one will suit me the best. Then suddenly I came across these Khadi conditioners. The first time I used them only I felt the difference, it nourished my hair, made it soft and smooth, like the way a conditioner should exactly be. Moreover, it is not at all costly. I believe for all the variety of conditioner that Khadi has, its priced at or...

Jovees Honey and Apple Conditioning Shampoo Review

So today is another review day! And today I'm gonna talk about the product which has been with me for the longest time ever☺ Yah, as you all must have understood by the caption, today I will be sharing my review about Jovees Honey and Apple Conditioning Shampoo. I have been using this shampoo for the longest time ever! For the last FOUR years, I'm using it. Not that I'm saying this is the best shampoo ever in the market and blah blah, but it surely suits my hair the best out of all the shampoos that I had used before coming across this one. So the shampoo actually looks like this: The shampoo had a different packaging when I just started using it and is now in this form. So you can understand I have seen all phases of this shampoo. LOL!! I actually have very dry and rough hair and was looking for some shampoo which will keep it soft and not make it even drier after hair wash. This exactly serves the purpose. It is transparent and has a very mild and nice f...

Bengali Association Durga puja in Aurangabad, Maharashtra

Durga Puja is one of the biggest festival celebrated by the Bengalies. I am a Bengali by birth and I have recently shifted to Aurangabad, Maharashtra (you can check out the places that I have explored here in Aurangabad in my previous blog:  https://pcfoodfacelife.blogspot.com/2018/08/blog-post.html ). So this 2018 Durga puja I had spent in Aurangabad, and that's when I discovered that there is a Bengali Association in Aurangabad (there might be more, but I am talking about the one I am aware of right now). As I came to know, this Bengali Association celebrates all the Bengali festivals in the authentic Bengali way, and so was the Durga Puja. The Durga Puja of this particular Bengali association is hosted in the "Sagar Lawns and Function Hall" which is near the Prozone Mall in the Chilkalthana Area ( https://www.google.co.in/maps/contrib/104235049707915129776/place/ChIJE7FM7_Gi2zsRYC0D6NRB0Ag/@19.5396149,74.1340508,9z/data=!4m6!1m5!8m4!1e1!2s104235049707915129776!...
