Hair Fall Remedies :)

I know, you all must be like, what yaar! another fake promise from these bloggers! But trust me, I am not going to tell you that You know, do this for these number of days and your hair fall will completely stop!  and stuff like that. I am gonna give you some simple tips and tricks which I follow, and which I have seen REDUCES the amount of hair fall. I would not say it completely stops hair fall. Because it is completely natural to lose around 50-100 strands of hair a day, as that's how our hair regenerates itself. But yes, when this number goes above 150, that's a matter of concern!

Now, what all should you follow to take care of your hair? First, you have to remember one thing, homemade beauty remedies work much better than using chemicals or going for expensive chemical hair treatment. I agree that when you opt for home remedies, they really take a long time to give you the desired result, but trust me, they work well in the long run.

So, the first thing you have to do is to identify the reason for your hair fall. If for some medical reason you are having excess hair fall, which might be like: the side effect of some medicine that you are taking, or because of some massive illness that you have just gone through and things like that, it's always advisable to go meet a dermatologist in these case. But if these are not the case with you, here I am to share with you what all you can do to get the hair fall under control.

Water, water everywhere..
It is very important to drink minimum eight glasses of water daily. It keeps us hydrated and also helps to flash out the toxins from our body which indirectly results in reducing the amount of hair fall
and also gives us a fresh and clear skin. Also, its advisable to drink warm water in the morning with a half lemon squeezed into it.

It's all about the food you eat
We should always make sure that our regular diet has some green leafy vegetables, pulses, protein, and some seasonal fruits. Always remember, the type of food you eat gets reflected on your health, and thus the healthier your diet is, the better is the hair quality you get! I know there are a lot of fine restaurants which attracts us very easily, I am not asking you to completely stop going and eating outside in those places, but what is suggested is that the number of times you visit these restaurants should be minimized and home food should be preferred (which includes a whole meal).

Oiling hair and Hair Wash
Oiling hair is a MUST. You should try to oil your hair at least twice a week. It's not that the more expensive the oil, better the results you get. The oil which works the best for your hair is Coconut/Olive oil. Oil is the major food for the hair, and the more frequently you feed them, healthier will they be!Castor oil is also a great ingredient to promote hair growth and reduce hair fall, but as it has a very thick consistency, its preferable to mix the castor oil with any other base oil (coconut/olive oil) and then apply. Applying warm oil and giving a good massage to hair is even better! Followed by hair oiling, hair should be washed with a mild shampoo (of your choice, but prefer transparent shampoos as they have lesser chemicals than other shampoos which has colour) followed by conditioner/after wash serum. Too frequent hair wash also aids in hair fall as it takes off the natural hair sebum and results in brittle hair, and ultimately results in its fall. Thus hair wash should be restricted to maximum 2-3 times a week (depending on the necessity/requirement)

Some hair masks..

1. Fenugreek seed (methi seed) and Curd

Fenugreek/methi seeds are great for hair. They not only reduce the amount of hair fall but also promotes hair growth and gives a shine to hair. So for this mask, you have to soak some handful of fenugreek seeds overnight in water and make a paste of it in the morning with the same water in which it was soaked. Mix some curd (half the quantity as that of fenugreek seeds) with the paste and also add some hair oil (preferably coconut or castor oil) in the mixture and apply the paste all over your hair (root to tips), Leave it for like 1-2 hours and then wash off with a mild shampoo. Repeat this once a week, and you can see the reduction in hair fall and a natural shine to your hair.

2. Egg and Lemon

Break one egg and put the juice of half lemon into it. Also, add some castor oil. Mix it well and apply the paste all over your hair (root to tips), Leave it for like 1-2 hours and then wash off with a mild shampoo. Repeat this once a week. (For people who are vegetarians out there, you can replace the egg with curd, and in that case mix curd with oil, you can skip lemon).

3. Aloe Vera and Coconut oil

Mix some aloe vera gel with coconut oil (in half quantity as that of the aloe gel). Prefer the gel from the aloe vera plant directly, but in case that becomes difficult to arrange, you can opt for the aloe vera gels that are readily available in the market. Apply it all over your hair (root to tips), Leave it for like 2 hours and then wash off with a mild shampoo. Repeat this once a week, and you can see the reduction in hair fall.

Always remember, there are plenty of hair masks available in the market, which promises a number of things and claims that they are 100% natural, I am not telling they are a complete waste, but these natural home remedies are far better than those as these do not have the preservative, which is the minimum chemical that these market products need to add to its ingredient list to keep it fresh for long. Of course, you won't feel the change in the amount of hair fall by using these natural masks only once or twice, but as I have already mentioned, they pay off in the long run and gives you much better result than the ready to use masks available in the market with their regular usage.

Also, don't forget to plate your hair (if your hair is long) before you go to bed because that reduces the chance of knots in your hair and thereby reducing the amount of hair fall when you comb it in the next day morning!

Hope these tips and tricks help you!
Take care <3

Khadi herbal Hair conditioner review

So here I am today to review two varieties of KHADI Herbal Hair Conditioner, one is Khadi Shikakai and Honey Hair conditioner and the other is Khadi Green Tea and Aloevera Hair conditioner. The first thing I want to share is I am absolutely in love with these hair conditioners. I am the one who has dry and rough hair, and for me, I felt these conditioners are just perfect! So why I'm in love with these? I have tried like so many conditioners on my hair, some of it turned out to leave my hair too sticky, some didn't do its job at all and left my hair brittle and rough, and to be very honest, I was tired to figure out which one will suit me the best. Then suddenly I came across these Khadi conditioners. The first time I used them only I felt the difference, it nourished my hair, made it soft and smooth, like the way a conditioner should exactly be. Moreover, it is not at all costly. I believe for all the variety of conditioner that Khadi has, its priced at or...

Bengali Association Durga puja in Aurangabad, Maharashtra

Durga Puja is one of the biggest festival celebrated by the Bengalies. I am a Bengali by birth and I have recently shifted to Aurangabad, Maharashtra (you can check out the places that I have explored here in Aurangabad in my previous blog:  https://pcfoodfacelife.blogspot.com/2018/08/blog-post.html ). So this 2018 Durga puja I had spent in Aurangabad, and that's when I discovered that there is a Bengali Association in Aurangabad (there might be more, but I am talking about the one I am aware of right now). As I came to know, this Bengali Association celebrates all the Bengali festivals in the authentic Bengali way, and so was the Durga Puja. The Durga Puja of this particular Bengali association is hosted in the "Sagar Lawns and Function Hall" which is near the Prozone Mall in the Chilkalthana Area ( https://www.google.co.in/maps/contrib/104235049707915129776/place/ChIJE7FM7_Gi2zsRYC0D6NRB0Ag/@19.5396149,74.1340508,9z/data=!4m6!1m5!8m4!1e1!2s104235049707915129776!...
